MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program for mothers with children in the age-range from birth through Kindergarten.

MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, single and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!

What is MOPS?

MOPS is a place for women to make friends, share experiences, laugh together and receive understanding and gentle encouragement.

MOPS groups are run by mothers for mothers of preschoolers. Our program includes an encouraging message, time for ladies to meet and talk in small groups, a craft and a variety of other activities intended to deepen friendships and spiritual growth.

MOPS is a refreshing break from child care responsibilities to get together with other ladies over craft projects, refreshments and conversation while the kids are engaged in a stimulating and fun program of their own, MOPpets.

Crossroads MOPS meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, September through May, from 9:30-11:30am at Crossroads Fellowship.

What is MOPPETS?

MOPPETS is the MOPS childrens program. While moms are enjoying their morning program, our children are cared for in age appropriate classes. This is a fun time for the kids. They are lovingly entertained with games, crafts, songs, Bible stories and snacks.

Homeschooled children with preschool siblings are provided a room for them to work. Moppets does not have a specific program for the homeschoolers, mothers of these children are therefore responsible for monitoring their activities.

The Cost?

MOPS International's annual registration fee is $24. This entitles you to a MOPS magazine, MomSense, subscription; Mom-E-Mail, a weekly mom e-mail to inspire and encourage you, MOPS logo reusable shopping bag, MOPS bumper sticker, No Mom Alone 2-in-1 frame magnet, and MOPS bag tag that can be used on luggage, diaper bags, or even your gym bag!

An additional Crossroads fee of $50, to cover childcare, craft and hospitality expenses, will be paid at the first meeting of each semester (Sept. and Jan.)

If you are new to MOPS and unsure what our meetings are like, please feel free to join us for FREE your first meeting.

If you need assistance with the cost of dues, please contact Heather Burckart, scholarships are available. We do not want finances to prevent anyone from participating in MOPS.
